The German automaker created a cutting-edge two-place roadster called Vision ConnectedDrive. By the words of creators it is radical new roadster concept "presents the automobile as a fully integrated part of the networked world in both its design and technological innovations" as well as representing "the potential of current and future in-car technology for optimizing comfort, safety and infotainment." The Vision ConnectedDrive manifests the typical characteristics of BMW design: agressive look, sporting, dynamic character. BMW has announced that this concept will not be produced, but its design and technology will be the basis of future production models.

New BMW Alpina D3 BiTurbo – a great diesel
The BMW Alpina D3 BiTurbo - a brilliant, quick and economical everyday driveAlpina and tuned BMWs are synonymous. Alpina has turned out some stunning versions of the BMW range over the years (and some not so stunning – their 8 Series springs to mind) and they fill a gap that is either not profitable in small volume for BMW or, in some cases, a hole that BMW hasn’t plugged.
And this one is a good hole to fill with the BMW Alpina D3 Bi-Turbo, a 3 Series diesel with the heart of a hot hatch. Alpina has taken the engine out of the 1 Series 123d and given it a boost to 240bhp, in the process dropping the 0-60 time to a very creditable 6.9 seconds
But it’s not the sprint that count, but the way this peppy diesel unit delivers it. With a big (relatively) lump of torque at it’s disposal it feels much quicker than the headline times. In fact, it’ up there with the 330D, but drinks like a miser. Fuel economy is stunning 52mpg, and just 143g/km Co2.
This is an updated version of last years car and a clever car it is. I can’t think of many cars off he top of my head that would be such a perfect daily drive. Great performance and good economy, in a well-built and classy looking car, with the added kudos of the Alpina badge.
No daft options list – just choose auto (£31,585) or manual (£29,950).

2015 BMW Vision Supercar. Hre are the renderings
BMW is preparing a new supercar with an exterior design inspired by the Vision Efficient Dynamics brought out at the 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show. It’s been a long time now since we first heard of news around this. Now BMW has made it widely known that they are introducing a brand new rendering of the future supercar. The new supercar is expected to engage in its world debut in 2015.
The next BMW Vision Supercar, as suggested by several rumors, is going to use a hybrid power that will combine a V10 engine. The V10 engine churns out at 7750 rpm delivering 507 HP and the torque levels of 520 Nm. The engine consists of two electric motors; one installed on the front axle and the second one fitted at the rear between the V10 and transmission box. The sports sedan will be attached to the six-speed M-Sport automatic transmission.
The first electric motor is expected to churn out 80 to 115 HP while the second electric motor installed at the rear would deliver more than 50 hp. The company announced that the car would weigh just beneath 1500 kg. In order to keep the weight of the sports sedan under control, the company would make use of the all-new aluminum chassis, carbon fiber bodywork, fine Kevlar bucket seats, and several magnesium and plastic parts. All this would help the M8 weigh just less than 1500 kilograms. With lighter weight the super sports sedan would pick up the speed from 0 mph to 60 mph in just 3.8 seconds.

BMW Vision EfficientDynamics at Frankfurt Auto Show
BMW Vision EfficientDynamics is one of the greatest concepts made by BMW. As you can see it was revealed at the Frankfurt Auto Show. More exactly, at the end, BMW Vision EfficientDynamics appeared. The man that concerned on the unvealig was CEO Dr. Robert Reithofer. This car can be used with few ejaculations gas field.
This car represents the future generation of cars looking from any angle. The rims are very special, I didn’t see them so far on any concept BMW. For full-hybrid drive you can use only the two electric engines and combined with combustion, it uses 3.76 liter/100 kilometers.
I said before and I will say it again, I love this concept for his consumption, for the futuristic design and for the thing that it has almost nothing on it that a normal car does. BMW Vision
BMW Vision Efficient Dynamics Concept mobil sport konsep ini akan ditampilkan BMW pada Frankfurt Motor Show 2009, yang diselenggarakan pada 17-27 September.
BMW Vision ini konsepnya adalah mobil hibrida menggunakan mesin turbo diesel tiga silinder dan dua motor listrik. Mesin hybrid listriknya bisa menghasilkan tenaga sampai 256 HP dengan kecepatan 0-100 bisa dicapai dalam waktu 4,8 detik dan maksium top speed 250 km/ jam.
Teknologi inovatif lain yang dibanggakan BMW pada mobil ini adalah lampu dengan pencahayaan yang sangat terang. Di samping itu, lampu ini juga memberikan simbiosis penerangan yang unik di sekitarnya. Menurut BMW, kombinasi desain lampu LED di depan dan belakang mobil akan menciptakan tren desain masa depan.

New BMW Dealer Customizes 1-Series to Produce M3 GTS-Lookalike
Remember the BMW M3 GTS? We sure do. The car was produced by BMW as a special, extreme M3. Unfortunately, it was available only in European markets, where it sold out quickly.
The 1-Series is about to get an M performance variant of its own pretty soon, but up until now more performance has had to come from customization.
Parkview BMW, a BMW dealer in Ontario, liked the M3 GTS so much that they decided to create their own mini-model based on the 1-Series.
The most noticeable similarity would have to be the same stunning Fire Orange paint that really set the M3 GTS apart. It is also paired with similar black alloy rims.
Of course, it wouldn’t be complete without other modifications as well and Parkview BMW is happy to oblige. The car gets a a complement of BMW Performance Parts, including an body kit, carbon fiber rear diffuser, mirror caps, spoilers and roof.
Inside, the carbon fiber accents continue, along with an Alcantara steering wheel, M gear shift knob and aluminum pedals.
As far as performance modifications to the engine, whether or not the dealer did that has not been made certain. We do know it certainly looks the part though. You can check out more over at 1-Series fan site 1Addicts.
New BMW Releases Images,
The 1-Series M is coming, if you haven’t noticed. BMW is managing this campaign brilliantly, releasing just enough information and details to keep our interested piqued.
The car’s official launch is set to come at the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS). The company has released some new details and teaser images of the car.
Let’s get down to the details. The 1 Series M Coupe has the twin-turbo 3.0-liter six-cylinder from the X4 sDrive35is (don’t even get us started on that name).
It makes 340-horsepower and the car weighs 3,300 pounds, which should make for some nice performance figures. In reality, this car is a true successor to the original BMW M3 that enthusiasts loved so much.
As for pricing, it is expected to be slotted in the 135i and M3, coming in at around $45k mark. The car should be making the rounds at all the magazines soon enough, with coverage expected to be – what else – fawning.
